Programs Offered by CRCD
Education and Workforce Development
CRCD understands the transformative power of education. Their educational programs aim to equip people with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in today’s competitive world. What sets CRCD apart is their understanding of the unique challenges young people of South LA face. Their comprehensive Youth Development program focuses on supplying on out-of-school youth (ages 16-24) with the skills, education and resources they need to go out into the workforce. Through academic support, vocational training, job placement assistance, and mentorship programs, CRCD ensures that individuals have the tools to achieve their educational and career goals.
CRCD also offers an Adult Workforce Development program that helps unhoused workers, veterans and formerly incarcerated individuals with employment and training opportunities. Additionally, the Adult Workforce Development program educates individuals on financial literacy, making sure they are ready
to navigate the complexities of personal finance. CRCD understands that financial literacy is a vital skill that empowers individuals to make informed decisions about budgeting, saving, and investing. Through workshops, one-on-one counseling, and resource referrals, the Adult Workforce Development program equips participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to manage their finances effectively.
